Johannah Fennessy
In my work I tend to focus on colour and the joy of making. In my paintings you will see specs of many different colours especially bright yellows peeking through. My work began quite contained and detail based but I have grown into a more painterly expressive style in the past year. In photography I focus on light, shadow and of course colour. At the end of the day my favourite pieces are the ones that made me smile during the process. In my face paintings I focused on our realities of working from home, from pixelated faces, Microsoft word and drowning in the blue light of laptops.
