Most of my art revolves around nature and the people I love. This is mainly because both of my parents who both have a passionate fondness for gardening and the natural world and animals which I guess was passed down on to me. I love making art that is light-hearted and can make people smile, or even better laugh for a few minutes. My intention with my art is to maybe make people notice the world around them a think about it in a different way. Maybe the next time you’re out on a walk and you see a dainty little flower perhaps you might take a little time to appreciate it instead of only taking a photo of it for Instagram or Twitter :). Of course, there is also my own personal reason for doing art which is seeing its benefits for mental health and mindfulness, and I hope when others see my work, they might be inspired to make their own. 🙂
