These are multi media pieces representing my journey of spirituality and of whats known as a spiritual awakening portrayed using a collection of objects, past artworks and scrap paper with random notes as-well as diary entries. At the time of making the original pieces, I was unconsciously trying to decipher how my past experiences have shaped my thoughts and feelings. Only when making these pieces did it begin to turn into a timeline of significant life events and the relevance of them to my life now. Intentionally, the portrayal of these emotions is obscure to the viewer as a way of representing the complexity of the human psyche, In the same way we find it hard to express ourselves at times as we are the only ones who can hear our own inner dialogues and feel our emotions.
